All research studies in the field of management planning, economics and organization are carried out in two methodological stages:
- Data collection:
In the field of forest management planning, data are mainly collected through fieldwork that involves establishment of sample plots, measurement of forest estimation elements, and collection of data on site and stand conditions. In addition to quantitative indicators, the method includes the collection of data on qualitative characteristics of trees and stands. In the context of operational activities, fieldwork is related to the collection of data necessary for various planning documents or research projects.
In the field of organization and economics, data are collected in the form of surveys or specific analysis of organizational structure and economic feasibility of various projects.
- Data processing:
The collected data are systematized, and then analyzed by using various statistical and other related methods. The obtained results are then synthesized and used to draw conclusions about the studied phenomena.
